upload image now stop showing

We have no problem with upload image so far. Then a week ago, it stops working. After we upload an image, no thumbnail is shown at all. Thus inserted image does not show up in a post.
We try flash uploader, browser uploader, various type of image format (.jpg, .png, .gif, …) to no avail. Basically we can no longer show any upload image. However any images that already uploaded prior still can be show.
Thus our conclusion is the problem is not the displaying mechanism but rather the upload process, or something happen with our blog account. It’s noted that a week ago, our blog is DDoS attacked. We wonder if wordpress disable our upload feature or something else happen.
We don’t know where to turn to for help but here in this forum. If you have any tip for us we would appreciate very much.

It COULD be your virus prevention/firewall. AVG in particular is fussy. Make sure you’ve set WordPress.com as a Safe Site in your settings for that program.

having the same problem. Uploaded images for the first few days, no problem. Then it began showing the same symptoms described above.
Trying to gather more information, I clicked on EDIT IMAGE
and got the reply there was no image there.
All I have is the X,showing that no image was uploaded.>>>
