not letting me upload photos. it uploads the same photo agian and again insted

When i try to upload photos it only uploads one photo over and over agian. I tryed deleting photos thinking my photo space might just be full but that didnt work.

Deleting images from your Media Library is not wise because doing that means they are removed from the wordpress.com servers and everywhere you embedded them in your blog there will be a 404 page not found error.

We are using this blog to post pictures in our photo class. 24 other students have been able to upload pictures from this computer and same browser. Chrome Version 46.0.2490.71 m and I have just cleared the cache.
All the photos are jpeg.
When I upload photos, it keeps uploading the same one over and over even when I select a different file from my thumbdrive.

You are out of disk space on that site. As timethief mentions, deleting photos out of the media library will cause them to be removed from any pages or posts that you are using them on on the site.
If you have photos in the media library that are not being used in any posts/pages you can delete those, otherwise you may need to look into purchasing a plan with additional disk space.

The reason I am out of space is because the media library is filled with photos that refuse to be deleted. I have managed to get rid of some, but the rest of them keep reappearing every time I delete them. It’s very frustrating.
I don’t mind having the pictures removed from my previous posts as I’m doing this for class. Would it be possible from your end to delete EVERYTHING so that I can finally start posting new pictures.
