  When I upload a jpg remotely from my phone, it goes to my media library, but does not display a thumbnail image. If I click on it, I get to see the full image okay. Also it does not display in my post. I get a http timeout error also when uploading, I have extended it and could do so more. But as the image is able to be displayed it seems like it could just be wordpress.com software issue.

  Also when I used https://www.photoshop.com/express/landing.html the online photoshop and saved as jpeg, wordpress said the file format is corrupted (that was a couple of weeks ago, maybe it was their beta issue)

  I am thinking I could upload elsewhere and just link from somewhere else.

  If I upload by usb from a computer I have no problem re the image.
