  Are you talking about a site hosted here at WordPress.com? Here you can theoretically upload files of up to 1GB in size. Or do you mean you have run out of space in your media library. Then you’d need to upgrade your plan. What is the address of the site?

  Yes it’s a WordPress website… It’s telling me that the maximum file or media I can upload is 2mb… How can I increase that

  I suspect you’re asking in the wrong place. If your site is hosted elsewhere and using the wordpress installation you’d need to register an account at
  https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
  as the two wordpresses function differently.
  https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
