Upload Limit – do images in authored posts count regardless of blog posted in?

  Hi,
  Two upload limit questions:

  (1) I post weekly at 52rolls.net (a blog owned by someone else). I post daily at my own blog burntembers.com. I see in my Media Library the images I have uploaded to 52Rolls – do they count against my upload limit in burntembers? If so, why? 52Rolls pays extra for more upload space and these photos appear to be counting against that space limit.

  (2) How long does it take for the uploaded calculation to be revised after I remove images from the media library? I am currently trying to get surplus images out of old posts, and probably will also resize some of them by uploading smaller versions. I am doing this on the assumption that the calculation of how much space I have used can go down, as well as up but my efforts to date have not shown a change in the total that I have used already, and should have.

  The upload limit would be by blog. So whatever is being uploaded to that blog’s Media Library (no matter the user) will count towards the blog’s space capacity.

  It should calculate immediately. Please note that when you delete files from your Media > Library they will also be removed from the post that it was attached to.

  It is confusing that the ones from the other blog appear in my blog’s media library, but useful as well.

  Perhaps I did not delete enough to see a difference but could have sworn it was about 0.2gb worth.

  I have been deleting from within the posts and the media library.
