Upload .mov video from iPhone?

  I have saved a video from my new iPhone 5 to my computer. I believe it’s a .mov, which, I believe, is quick time, but I don’t know how to add it to my blog. I have a free blog. Can you help? Or should I say, can it be done on a free blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  .mov is an accepted file format as per info here.

  goto Dashboard > Media > Add new

  upload your .mov video

  go to your page or post and attach it.

  I can’t for the life of me figure out what I’m doing wrong. I emailed the video from my camera to my computer, then I saved the video to my video library. I can play it on my phone and laptop. I have tried several times to do what you suggested. Below is the message I keep getting:

  Dismiss Errors
  Error IMG_0398.MOV
  This file type is not allowed. Please try another.
  Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, pdf, doc, ppt, odt, pptx, docx, pps, ppsx, xls, xlsx.

  Despite what you were told above you can’t upload it unless you have the space upgrade and videopress upgrades.

  I suggest you upload it to YouTube and then put that video into your blog.

  It’s the best of both worlds: easy to put in your blog, free, AND gives you access to a new audience.
