-
Hi,
I would like to if it is possible to upload multi images without using Crt. in windows.
I would like to make an option select and unselect is that possible with wordpress. -
Hi there,
Depending on your version of Windows, there’s an option to use checkboxes to select items.
Here are the instructions for Windows 7:
https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/7888/how-to-enable-check-boxes-in-explorer-in-windows-7/
and the ones for Windows 10 (applies to Windows 8):

I need to use a tablet to make a new products and upload the images to the gallery so i need a way to add the images to the gallery without using the Ctrl.
-
Depending on the operating system of the tablet (iOS, Android, Windows) there should be a way to select multiple items. Something like holding an item will enable a multi-selection feature.
Please let me know the operating system your tablet uses and if you plan to use the official WordPress app.

Hi Sinan –
With the iOS app you can select multiple images to add in to a post.
Once signed in, select the site you are working on.
Next, click on Media from the menu.
Use the + symbol from the upper right hand corner and choose your source. When the images pop up there’s a little circle icon that will turn blue with a white check mark when you have selected that image to be included – you can choose multiples – it’s not a problem.
Let me know if that helps. There could be a limitation of how well this works depending on your network strength. You’ll want to optimize the image sizes if that’s the case. A smaller size will be able to upload quicker on a slower connection.

What site are you working on? It sounds like you’re using the open source WordPress software, along with some kind of ecommerce plugin, correct?
In that case you’ll need to use the mobile browser on your phone or tablet, rather than the WordPress app. The WordPress app does not support custom post types like Products added by eCommerce plugins, so you can’t use the app to manage products on your site.

Hi,
Yes sir am using the opensource wordpress with woocommerce plugin to add products, but also with the browser you can’t add multi images, you have to add the images one by one. there is no multi add function there is well an multi add upload function.

Are you speaking of selecting multiple images on your tablet to upload them to the media library, or selecting multiple images in the media library to add them to a post?
If it’s to upload images to the library, that’s not something we control. How you select files to upload them to the library is controlled by your operating system. But if you’re on a tablet and don’t have a keyboard with a control key, you should be able to just long-press a file to get the option to select multiple files.
In the media library you should be able to select multiple images by just tapping all the images you want to use – selecting an image doesn’t immediately insert it, so to insert more than one image you just select all the ones you want before inserting them.

Hi there,
Those screenshots are from Windows 10 and you told us that you’re using an iPad. If you want to select multiple images on the iPad please follow the instructions that staff-zinnia previously gave you.
Also, can you please let us know your site’s address so I can point you in the right direction of getting support?
