Upload my own theme?

  I looked at guides about using a theme that’s on my Hardrive, but since I’m making my blog through the WordPress.com online interface, it doesn’t look like I have the option to upload it.

  How do I use this theme? Can I submit it to the WordPress theme database or something?

  The functionality for uploading themes only works on self-hosted WordPress.org blogs, not here on WordPress.com.

  I understand that WordPress.com doesn’t allow ftp. Can you upload a wordpress website built on your local computer to a WordPress.com blog?

  “but you cannot run a custom theme*” – need VIP account to use your own Theme
