  How do I upload a theme that is not on wordpress?

  Hi Sandra. Uploading themes that are not already on WordPress.com is not an available option. Since WP.com is a shared environment, users are limited to the many themes that are already installed. For more information, read the following article:

  You would have to head over to WordPress.ORG. On WordPress.COM we can use only the themes here:
  http://wordpress.com/themes/
  or
  dashboard—>appearance—>themes
