Upload of older blog articles?

I uploaded some earlier blog articles and received an e-mail that they uploaded successfully. But they do not appear in my blog. What happened to them and how can I add older entries to my already existing blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you sure they are not under Posts > All Posts in datestamp order? I tagged this thread for Staff assistance with your import issue. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Of course, I checked that first and many times. They are not present in “all posts”! I hope the staff can help.

Hi Jack,
Could you let me know the title of a few blog posts (one or two would be helpful) that aren’t present in the list of posts? Also, could you let me know the blog address you originally exported from?

The original blog posts came from http://www.commentfromisraelblog.blogspot.com from 2004 to 2014.
The older ones are in a file in my computer, and date from 2000-2004.
I wanted to add them at the beginning of the blog.
I chose “import” under “tools” and then “moveable type and typepad” which seemed the only option for uploading a computer file.
Maybe this is the wrong choice, maybe there is no correct option available. But, I have done this twice now and each time I got an e-mail saying the transfer had been successful, but it was NOT.
The first blog (May 2000) is named “The next war” and the last one (Dec 2003) is “Inevitable.” -
You’ll want to use the Blogger importer here:

At the very top of the page, you should see the option to upload a file from your computer (screenshot: http://d.pr/i/13dCR). Can you give that a try?

I tried the blogger import option and browsed and imported the file I wanted (a .docx file). But then it responded “invalid file” although it also said that the file was uploaded successfully. Contradictory information. So far no sign of the file/posts being present in my wordpress blog. Thanks for trying anyway. Any other suggestions for a .docx file?

I’m afraid we don’t have an importer that handles .docx files. We would need an XML file. Do you have access to the Blogger blog still? Could you try re-exporting it in XML format following the steps here?
