Upload picture huge – “Thumbnail” not given as option

  • Unknown's avatar

Just signed up today and have been reading FAQ’s trying to figure things out (slow process). Following the directions in FAQ for “How do I upload pictures?” isn’t helping because in the FAQ demo page it shows the option to click on “Thumbnail” or “Full Size”, however these are not the options given to me when I try to actually upload a picture. My options are “Full size” or “Title”.

Clearly “Full size” is HUGE and “Title” just shows the file name. What is the secret to geting a photo in a blog post?

Also, isn’t there a tutorial I can follow on how to use WordPress? Or something that walks me through it step by step?

    Thank you.

    Where is the thumbnail?

As you’ll see if you read the above FAQ entry (i’m sure that’s what you want right now, more FAQ reading, right?), the thumbnail option is dependent upon the size of the file you upload.

To resize the full size image within a post, click on the enormously big image in the editor, and drag the corners to make it smaller.

    Good luck :-)
