No Ellaella,
It won’t help. I have been getting the same error. There is a serious issue here and I for one am hoping to see it addressed quickly.

Tellyworth said that an IO error probably means there’s something iffy with your internet connection. What kind of connection are you on?
Also, check through the forum for threads about Upload issues. There are a bunch and one might have something that works for you.

I’ve downloaded the new Flash and also have the same problems as isnian. this new dashboard, etc., is the pits.
PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!!

Those seeing IO errors:
What is your browser version? (Help/About will usually tell you on Windows, or Safari/About or Firefox/About on a Mac).
What kind of firewall, internet security and virus scanner software do you have installed?
Have you cleared your browser cache as suggested here? –

I am not seeing an error, but I have not been able to upload an image in the text portion. It just puts all the images at the beginning of the post.
Any suggestions? I so do not like what they have done, the old version is better!!

Are you placing the images while in HTML view? Be certain the cursor is where you want the image to be in your text. If it isn’t, I believe it defaults to placing them at the top of a post. In HTML view, you can highlight the code for the image, do Cut, and then Paste it where it should be.
