Upload progress bar doesn't update

    Hi I’ve just bought videopress, and I’ve just uploaded a first test video. It was a .mov file, an unedited short clip shot with a Canon 5dm2, h.264 video, uncompressed audio, 145mb long. The upload worked fine, given some patience. I used browser upload, not flash.

    However, the progress bar never updated during the entire upload. Instead it said “1% complete” right up until the upload finished. Also, my browser (FF) said during the entire upload that it was “connecting” and “sending request to (my blog address)”. This was a bit discouraging, and made it appear as if the upload wasn’t working. I actually gave up a couple times and restarted the upload, thinking it wasn’t working, when apparently it was and I just needed to wait.

    So as far as I can tell the video upload progress bar isn’t working at all,at least not on FF5. Perhaps until it is working, WordPress should replace it with a message that says something like “upload initiated please have patience, and don’t worry if your browser continues to report that it’s ‘connecting’ and ‘sending request’, your upload is underway”.
