Upload the file to the website root directory

  Hi,

  As the title says, we would like to know if WordPress has a way to upload files to the website root directory
  For example upload test.json
  Can it become mydomain/test.json ?

  Correct account: Yes

  Just to clarify, are you asking for a WordPress.com site? Or a site built with the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and hosted elsewhere?

  Hello there,

  Generally speaking this would be possible via the hosting provider.

  At WordPress.com, this is possible via SFTP.
