  i would like to upload my own theme/plugin to my wordprress website if i readit well i need toupgrade for businessplan IT USED TO BE FREE TO UPLOAD MY THEME BEFORE HAS IT CHANGED ../?PLEASE CONFIRM IT TO ME ONLY WAY TO UPLOAD MY THEME BY UPGRADING FOR BUSINESS PLAN..?

  Hi there, yes, only sites with the WordPress.com Business Plan are able to upload custom themes: https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/

  Other sites can select themes from the WordPress.com theme directory: https://wordpress.com/themes/

  If you let us know what kind of theme you’re looking for, we may be able to give some suggestions.

  Also, that’s also correct, only sites with the Business Plan can upload custom plugins. However, all sites do get access to some plugins automatically.

  There are also some incompatible plugins to be aware of which cannot be used on WordPress.com entirely. Those are listed here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incompatible-plugins/

  If you state what you’re trying to do though, there may be some alternatives, so feel free to ask.

  Previously, WordPress.com never used to allow you to upload custom themes or plugins until last year. From that point, those features have been available but only to the Business Plan, and never for free.
