  Can you provide us details like what are you trying to upload? If the .ZIP file contains the .XML export from a previous site, then you can upload that by going here: https://wordpress.com/settings/import/

  More information about importing contents from .XML export files of other supported sites given here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  If that’s not what you are trying to do please provide details on what you are actually trying to achieve.

  NOTE: There is no FTP access for sites hosted at WordPress.COM so it is not possible to upload .ZIP files directly.

  Hi there,

  What exactly are you trying to upload? To upload a .zip file to your site’s media library you’ll need a paid plan on your site.

  For imports it will depend on where you’re importing from.

  If you’re trying to upload a .zip file containing a WordPress theme or plugin, that’s only possible if you have the Business Plan on your site.
