Uploaded a new theme and lost entire site

I just uploaded a new theme and somehow lost my entire website in the process. The theme installed and then I received the following error:
Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home/content/82/12162382/html/wp-content/themes/sonaar/includes/sonaar-music/includes/rss-importer/class-podcast-rss-import.php on line 129 Can anyone advise how to correct or at least be able to access the admin site? I no longer have access since it shows I no longer have a webpage.

    Hi there,

We’d be happy to help, but we require one vital piece of information. What is the URL of your website?

Bare in mind that if your websites uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, you should post in the self-hosted forums or alternatively contact your hosting provider. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Let us know this information and we’ll try and move forward. :)

    Hi there,

The Sonnar theme is causing a fatal error on your site.

To remove the error, please try renaming or deleting the sonaar folder in /wp-content/themes/ using FTP or the file manager in the control panel of your hosting account.

That should disable the theme, allowing you to regain access to the dashboard.

If you need help with this, please try contacting your hosting provider for support.

The forum you’ve posted this question in only provides support for sites hosted here at WordPress.com.

As your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress, and is not hosted here at WordPress.com, we are unable to provide support for it.

If you’d like to learn more about the differences between WordPress.com (the hosted service) and WordPress.org (the software), please see this guide:

Please try following the steps in my previous comment, or try contacting GoDaddy for support.

As your self-hosted WordPress site is not hosted here at WordPress.com, we’re unable to provide support for it. The files you need to modify are on GoDaddy’s servers.
