Uploaded and Cropped Headers Aren’t Showing Up…
Good Evening,
I hope that you can assist me as I am new to WordPress. I have uploaded and cropped some stock images on the WordPress site and my theme directed to crop them to 108X720 which I have done, but these images are still not showing up on my page. I am trying to get 6 different images to randomly switch on my header, but nothing is showing up. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the detailed instructions to set up the Dyad theme:

Please read the Featured Content section and let me know if you are still having trouble after setting those feature images.

I am still having trouble. They are uploaded and they have been cropped to the size that the theme recommends which is 1800X720, but none of them are showing up on my page when I try to look at it. I am trying to set them as a rotating header, but nothing appears. Any other suggestions?

Hi – These images need to be tagged as featured content to appear in the rotating header. I’ll be happy to help you finish this up, can you let me know which images you want to be displayed in the rotating header?

How do I tag the images as featured images? The images I am looking to tag this way are the 6 cropped images on my page if you can see them. I am very new and uneducated on WordPress. Sorry I can’t be more help in my descprition.

No problem. I’ve set this up for you. Here are the steps.
1. Open up your customizer. Go to My Sites > Customize > Featured Content
There you will see the tag ‘featured’ being used for your featured content. Any post with this tag is going to be displayed as featured content.2. Create your posts. Go to My Sites > Posts
3. The featured content images need to be added as a featured image in the post. The featured image tab is on the left hand side of your screen.
4. On the left side of the post editor, locate the Tags & Categories tab, open it, add ‘featured’ tag.
You will see that the post titles are “Featured Content 1-6” You can edit those to something more applicable to the site.
