uploaded image changes colour

I’ve uploaded a jpeg of our logo to the custom header, but the colours changed dramatically when I did that. Sky blue now looks green. Yellow looks almost orange. I’ve used the jpeg in other applications – looks OK on my screen, and from a colour printer. Any ideas of how to adjust the colour? We are working hard to brand our site through our logo, so the colour is an important part of the visual message.

Looks OK on my monitor… I see light blue on the inside of the graphic and a light yellow on the outside.

There are visible compression artifacts on the header, especially on the “CLEAR”. The design looks simple enough that you can use PNG for it without having a big file size. Try saving to that format and in the exact resolution that the header requires (to prevent possible alterations).

I agree with omarmodesto. Save it as a PNG since it is a simple graphic. JPG’s are really best for photos and such while PNG’s and GIF’s are better for graphics.
