uploaded image do not appear in gallery

  hi,
  I uploaded some images into my gallery last night. they all showed a completed but I can’t see them now. I want to insert them into a post.

  Any ideas why I can’t see them?

  I should note that I actually mean they ar not appearing in my media library so I can’t create a gallery.
