Uploaded images are missing

  Hey Guys,

  I’ve uploaded/cropped several images for my avatar. However, when I click on Manage/Uploads, my photos are nowhere to be found. Says, “There are no attachments to show.”

  Nevermind. Now it has shown up unexpectantly. But why didn’t my images show up under Manage/Uploads. I may want to change my avatar?

  Follow-up,

  I’m on a roll here.

  On the welcome page of wordpress.com, I notice my avatar photo is missing. I got the infamous question marks. Why is my avatar photo showing up here but not elsewhere?

  Avatars are cached. It can take a while for them to show up on all the pages.

  Next time it would be helpful if we knew what we were looking for so we could help you. Links, descriptions of the images, etc would be helpful.

  Clear out your browser’s file cache and see if you can see the avatar. The name of the file stays the same so your browser doesn’t know that it has to pull it again. I see a gray scale picture of a cat’s face.
