Uploaded Images cannot be selected/aligned/deleted

  Images are uploading from the media library into my post, but once there, I cannot select/highlight the image; the pop-up alignment menu only briefly flashes, and my cursor jumps to the bottom of the page. Help – I cannot seem to find the right answer.

  Your site is not using WordPress.com, but the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org.
