Uploaded Images getting Word press 404 error.

when using the up loader, the images themselves go through the motion of uploading, but then do not display the thumbnail preview it will only show the image name. If I send them to editor it is the same out come it will show a red X. If I attempt to browse all my uploaded pics the ones that I have uploaded this morning, do not show a preview like previous uploaded images.
If you attempt to go directly to the images link it comes back with a 404 error, but previous images I can link directly to with out issues.
Again this is only happening with images I have uploaded this morning.

I’m getting exactly the same problem with images I uploaded today – http://amerrierworld.wordpress.com/
Sometimes they appear but they mostly return a 404. I’ve cleared caches, restarted (Firefox), deleted and re-uploaded the images etc … nothing works.
Any ideas? Thanks :-)

It’s not resolved, it’s still happening, see the other 2 forum topics on this issue. I just tried to upload 2 pictures, 1 uploaded fine, the other ended up as a file name only

I’d love to comply, however I have as yet not published my first blog, was attempting to do so when I came across the problem. I have sent an email to support about this as it seems to be affecting more than just myself, and I gave them my URL – I assume they can access my draft pages and see what the problem is.
