Uploaded images in gallery not showing on website

  Hello,
  I am having an issue with the “photography theme”. I have uploaded several photos into a new page which I entitled “gallery” as per the instructions. I can see the photos in the media upload, under gallery, and have also chosen a featured picture. I selected an order for which I wanted the pictures to be displayed and then inserted the gallery into the page. When I preview my site, I can only view the featured picture in the gallery. When I click on that picture not of the other photos appear and no slideshow is present. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I followed the directions for inserting a gallery into the photography theme which were given on this website, but it’s still not working.
