Uploaded images not moving to editor

Hey all, in standard WordPress trying to get properly formatted and optimized images to move to the editor, but the button doesn’t seem to be doing anything. I push it, and the msg at the bottom of the page just says “done” with no action. Suggestions? I have already deleted and uploaded the images again in case it was a format problem.

Check the blog when this happens: are you getting the NAME of the file only showing up as an insertion? That sometimes happens. I’d send a feedback to staff with the name of the file and post. It often stops happening in a few minutes, but if it doesn’t, you can just click Edit and get the URL of hte image and use that in the appropriate place, using either the image icon in the visual editor or the proper HTML in the code editor.

Are you using Safari as your browser by any chance?

I’m not using Safari, but have tried Mozilla and Explorer. I’m going to try Raincoaster’s suggestion above and see what happens when I put it in manually.
