Uploaded Images not showing.

  Hello Team WordPress,

  I am sending this mail with regards to the issues I am facing on my wordpress site.
  I am currently unable to view images as they turn out to be broken links (i.e a small broken image display appears at the top left of the image box instead of the image) and any uploaded media turns out blank. After trying a lot of proferred solutions including changing the upload permissions to 755 and 744 and also using WP Reset to do a reset of the site, all efforts have proved abortive that’s why I am reaching out to you to please help me fix the problem as I am behind a deadline, tired and at my wits end as to how to resolve this issue.

  Hello Dean, thank you for reaching out to me. I really appreciate you. The thing is, After several attempts to fix the image problem, I got frustrated and took the site down, reset wordpress and deleted the plugins. But here’s the URL “vrepublics.com”. Can you send me your email so I can give you access to the back end in case you need it to help fix the issue. I really need help on this. Thank you.

  Oh, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help as your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Namecheap.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere; we can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
