uploaded images poorer quality??

when i upload my photography, with custom border & text (see blog), they are poorer quality & the text is often pixelated; why is that?
i’ve been having uploading them into photobucket & copying the HTML code & pasting in into each post, because it keeps them at a good qualitythis is very tiring & i have to resize my photographs to a much smaller size to fit the size of my blog
is there a way to upload into wordpress & have my photo (& text) quality remain high? ?

It’s always best to resize the photo yourself to match the column size of the theme you’ve chosen. I’ve also found it best to host the photos on Photobucket… but when you’re adding text to a photo it’s always important to save the photo at a decent dpi and as a large file. The photos you’ve got up there now look fine… no pixelation at all, so whatever you’re doing is working.

If the text is added to a JPG, the quality will be lower for the text due to anti-aliasing.
