uploaded posts not showing

  Hello, I am new to WordPress, I am moving my blog from blog.co.uk who are closing down. I am moving them across in yearly batches. They are xml files. I followed the instructions and received the email that all was okay and the upload was successful.

  However the archive is not showing any of them.

  Sometimes the importer gets stuck. Note that you can type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help and they will rest the importer for you.   Thank you time thief – I am wondering if the original files were corrupted somehow so am retrying in one big file [the image pictures looked different in my directory]. If that fails I will try your advice

  I do not know whether it was a “Happiness Engineer” working tirelessly in the background or that my original upload files were corrupt in some way.

  Either way, it has now worked and all of past posts are there. I am indeed HAPPY :)
