Hi. This is half an idea, half a support thing.
I was thinking that the upload tool is not that great. I mean, it would be nice to be able to upload multiple files, see the size of the archives, sort them in a nicer way… I don’t know, it’s just that this service doesn’t seem to me as good as the rest of things we have here at wordpress. And considering that many of us pay for this, I would be happier if this were for something more than just “more space”. In fact, having more space to upload things implicates that you have to be able to control things better.
The other thing: don’t you have problems with the files? Sometimes I delete a file, but if I enter the old url the thing keeps showing, meaning that it’s still there. And it’s not a momentary problem, ’cause the file keeps showing even hours later. Not many times I deleted something and it got deleted from the servers instantly (another thing that would be nice..).

Best bet would be to send in a feedback on this through your admin area, an support ticket in these forums or an email to support at wordpress dot com about this fredi! Try and do it quick as well before they close for the weekend!

There would be some security issues with a multiple file uploader. Also teh idea of the current uploader is to place teh image when you upload it, not do a bunch of them all at one time. (At least that’s how I understood it.)

Security issues? Why?
Well, yes, I understand that about placing the image after uploading it… BUT, if you have the space upgrade it would be nice to be able to upload 2 or more videos (for example) at the same time, not having to look if the videos are finished with the uploading all the time. By the way.. that’s another thing to look… having some kind of control in the progress of the uploading, specially with big files.
