uploading a custom theme
-
I have made a WordPress theme using Pinegrow, and I would like to upload it to my WordPress account. From my research on other WordPress instructional sites it appears I should be able to go to my site’s address /wp-admin, go to appearances>themes, and there should be a button that says ‘upload theme’ and I would upload a zip file. However, this button isn’t there like it is in all the screenshots I have seen of other people doing it. Has this option been moved somewhere else in a design update? Or has this option been removed from WordPress entirely?
Other sources say I need the wordpress.org software, as well as other third party software such as MAMP to upload my custom theme.
I can’t seem to get either method to work. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t add or install themes on WordPress.com:
Uploading a third-party or custom theme is possible only on self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software. This means that you cannot upload any themes to your WordPress.com site. Learn more.
Instead of uploading a theme, try checking out the current theme collection to see if there’s an option there that will work well for you.All the available themes on WordPress.com are here:
https://wordpress.com/themesBTW, that option never existed on WordPress.com
