Uploading a Custom Theme

  I’m trying to upload a custom theme I bought – in following the directions they gave me, I went to appearances where it said I would click on the ‘themes’ tab to then click ‘add new’ at the top of that page to install my theme. This button is not there. Does anyone know how I can fix this or what I can do?

  You are not able to install new themes using the hosted version of WordPress that is supported here; that is only available on the self-hosted version of WordPress.

  With that being said, there are still hundreds of themes available for you to choose from on WordPress.com:
  https://wordpress.com/themes/

  If you are unable to find one you like and think you want to try a self-hosted site, WordPress.com has created a good guide for this:
