uploading a mp4

  Hello,

  Im trying to upload a mp4 file to my blog, and when i do i get a error that says that this file type is not supported. I’m on the free version, if that helps.

  Hi there!

  You’ll only be able to add audio and video files to your site when you upgrade to one of our plans.
  On a free plan you can only embed those from third-party services.

  That’s messed up, used to be able to.

  Wordpress got greedy.

  Sites on WordPress.com have always, since the beginning, required a paid plan to upload audio and video.

  It was one of our original paid upgrades.
