uploading a new theme

ok, i was searching for wordpress theme’s on google and i found one that looks real cool! it let’s you download it, it says it works with wordpress. well my question is how do i upload and use the theme?

We don’t allow users to upload themes on WordPress.com. You would need to use the self-hosted version of WordPress. You can get support at http://wordpress.org/support/

i dont understand how you upload the theme with it, when i downloaded it, it was just a folder so i extracted it and there is just a bunch of files inside. i don’t understand how you work it?

I’m afraid you’ll have to visit http://wordpress.org/support/ for all support with the self-hosted version.

You have to hire a webhost, get a domain name, if you do not have one, and then install wordpress on your new webhost. Then export all of your stuff from here and import it into the new blog.
Here at WordPress.com, you are limited to the themes listed under design > themes. You cannot upload new ones.
