Uploading A New Theme

    Hi Support.
    I just bought WordPress premium for 99$ USD, because I wanted to upload my OWN theme, and not using the one you have.
    But then I just saw, that it is NOT possible, and I have to “MOVE” my WordPress account go another host.
    And I’m just like; “Did I just waste 99$ USD, to see that I have to buy a fucking host to upload a shitty theme?”. If I have to pay again, for a fucking host, I will get angry.
    I mean, I’m not supposed to pay near 100 USD to figure out, that I cannot upload my own theme. Well I mean, you’re the one who made WordPress, and then why shouldn’t I be able to upload my own theme? If I have to pay for a host, and my premium account on WordPress is useless, is it possible that I can get my money back? Because 99$ USD is a lot money.

    Hey there,

    I see that you were able to refund your theme purchase. Sorry to hear about the trouble. It should take 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect on your banks statement.

    You are correct, third party themes can not be uploaded to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. They are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

    WordPress.ORG software is free, and since you have already purchased a theme, all you will need is to find an inexpensive place to host your site. Here are some hosts that we recommend.
