uploading a pdf document

  How can I upload a pdf document?

  I am using add media and selecting the pdf document. after crunching what do I need to do?

  Wait 24 hours and all will be ok. No, seriously, maybe you missed the “Insert into post” button?

  First click “File URL”, then click “Insert into post”.

  Also go to Settings > Media > Default media links: select “File” (so that in the future the URL will always show up automatically).

  Also, don’t post the same thing twice here.

  had to fix the settings media first…. that’s why it was not working
