uploading a photoshop image

  I have recently aquired Photoshop version 7 and would like to upload some edited pitures into some of my pages, but I am having troubles with the file type. Which file type should the image be saved as in order for it to be successfully added to my blog?

  Photos should be jpg format. Also, I don’t remember Photoshop 7, but you should optimize them for the web if possible: you don’t want to upload huge images. There are lots of folks with dial-up connections and huge pictures take forever to see.

  Generally use gif for graphic images. Or png.

  Below is a list of file types you can upload to WordPress.com without any upgrades:
  jpg, jpeg, png, gif, pdf, doc, ppt, odt.
