Uploading a picture – help!

  Hi. I’m totally new and probably just missing something easy. I tried to upload a picture today of my nice and i didn’t have a thumbnail option. I don’t really get the difference anyways, so i selected full. But then the picture was HUGE. you could seriously only see her cheek. But i couldn’t choose the thumbnail version b/c it wasn’t available. so i just did a link to the picture, but i don’t think that’s as pleasing for the page. does anyone know what i’m doing wrong? is it something with my pictures?

  im running into the same problem as you are and it seems like unless im missing something, there is just limited options from WordPress.

  You can either offer the entire picture (full) and its HUGE or you can provide a thumbnail thats beyond small. Maybe 100 by 100. Now, if the thumbnail works for you, when writing, go to Uploads near the bottom and upload the picture you want and then click browse and then click on that picture you want.

  There it gives you the option as Full Screen or Thumbnail

  Go to Edit the post, then below the Writing box see the Uploads box…and under Browse you should be able to find it. Click on it again and see if it gives you the thumbnail option now.
