Uploading a purchased theme and different user interfaces between my two blogs

    I purchased a wordpress theme from Envato/theme forest for my future website which is now being held under jhcoachingandconsulting.wordpress.com. Can I upload it and use it? I am not seeing an upload feature like I did when I uploaded a theme for my other url…balancing grace.com. Can you assist?

    Can you also share why my user interface is so completely different? I don’t have any of the free themes beyond the 2010, 2011, 2012 etc. Is this because I have it connected to a url that I own?

    Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

    balancinggrace.com is a self-hosted WordPress.org site. This is what causes the difference in interfaces and themes between balancinggrace.com and jhcoachingandconsulting.wordpress.com.
