uploading a theme

  I just purchased the oshin theme platform and am having difficulty uploading it. can you please assist?

  Themes can’t be uploaded to sites hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

  That particular topic is closed, but includes an explanation of what to include when suggesting a new theme.

  Please give us the theme name, a link to view the theme, and—most importantly—why you like it and would love to have it on WordPress.com.

  Please search the forum first for a suggestion on the same theme. If it exists, add your vote to the same topic and add a note about why you like the theme.

  Cool I just wasted $60.

  Many theme developers are very reasonable and can offer refunds if you’ll explain that you were unaware of the discrepancies between WordPress.com and self-hosted sites. Of course I can’t guarantee anything, but it may be worth reaching out to them at the site where you purchased Oshin.

  And of course, if Oshin is very important to you I’d be happy to help you point your domain name to a self-hosted environment where you can setup a blog using Oshin.
