uploading a theme

  Hi, I currently have a free account on word press and am wanting to up load a theme i have from my desktop. Am i able to do this in the free account or do i need to sign up for a different paid account?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @alexburn2003, you would need the Business or E-Commerce plan to upload a theme from your desktop, as outside plugins and themes add complexity to our support and maintenance:

  This includes SSL, direct WordPress support, maintenance, security, and many other features that tend to cost extra with other providers.

  Or if you’d like to run your own copy of WordPress and use community support or hired contractors as needed, you can do that instead: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
