uploading a zip file of posts

    I am new and just purchases zip files of posts, and videos. How do I upload these files so word press can see them?

    Is it done in the Cpanel or Word press itself?

    hey !

    Sorry if i am wrong !! but I think bwbent you are at wrong place, WordPress.com is free web hosting site, and your requirement is not compatible with this platform. I think you should upgrade your plans for wordpress.com or you have to migrate to wordpress.org.

    @bwbent2014 Without a link to the site you need help with we cannot really answer your question.

    Generally speaking if you purchase the WordPress.com Premium Bundle upgrade, you can upload ZIP files to your WordPress.com website’s Media Library.

    However, you cannot upload a ZIP file to import your existing posts and media files. If you are trying to import an existing site to a WordPress.com website, please give us the WordPress.com URL and what service you are trying to import from.

    Let us know if you need more information or help on that.

    Since you mention CPanel, there is a good chance that you are referring to a site using the standalone WP software on 3rd party hosting. If so, please head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ for assistance. If you don’t have a username there, you’ll need to register one.
