uploading an avatar

    How do I up load an Avatar? Mine is the free version of WordPress. Does this make it impossible to upload an Avatar?
    I looked under Settings>general, but there is no place on the right for browsing… ;-(

    Avatars/gravatars are uploaded at users > your profile, but it has been a little inconsistent lately. My suggestion is that while logged into WordPress, go to http://en.gravatar.com/ and click on “my account” at the top of the page and then select “add an image” and upload your avatar/gravatar there. It seems to work better and it also seems to update more quickly.

    It can take several hours to as long as 24 for your avatar/gravatar to start showing up all across wordpress.
