Howdy!
Can you try importing your content by following this guide?
If you have already, maybe try it once more. :)
Let me know if you still can’t see your content!

After your xml import you still need to do some work to link or associate the pages from your “old” site to your new one. (old pages such as “home”, “about”, “contact us”, etc). You may want to use “Portfolios” to manage the pages.
To enable your “Portfolios” go to: “kgspartners.wordpress.com./wp-admin/”, go to “Settings”. Under “Writing”, scroll all the way down to “Your Custom Content Types” and “Enable” the “Portfolio Types” – the default number of Portfolio pages is 10 but you can modify that if you wish. Save your changes.
After your changes are saved, you will notice that a new menu item called “Portfolio” will be displayed. There you will “Add New” for every page from your original site. (for example, you would “Add New” item called “Home”)
Hope this helps.

Hi Daubian,
Thanks for your tips. I followed all your steps but when I hit “Add New” and called the page “Home”, I could not see how to connect that to my old content from my old “Home”. I have uploaded the XML file earlier.
Grateful for any futher tips :)
Thanks,

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your suggestion. I tired uploading this again. This time I got this message : “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.” Below this, there’s a ton of code.
I created this XML file in Nov 2013 as a backup for an old site that I now need to resurrect. Does the age of the file have any bearing on the problem ? Thanks for any advice you can give.
Regards,

Hi Richard,
I checked the import file you tried to upload on a test site and it imported without any problems. I also checked the file itself and it appears to be formed correctly, so the file should also work when you import it.
Can you please try it one more time from this page:
https://kgspartners.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin.php?import=wordpressIf it gives you an error again or doesn’t work, I can try importing it from my side.
