Uploading and then reaching a PDF

    Hey!

    I would like to upload a few PDF files to may blog, so that other people can download it!!

    All the time I’m trying to insert a media, the name of it does appear, however there is no way to download it!

    What am I doing wrong? How could help, please????

    Please search the forum before posting: most questions re “normal” situations have been answered time and again.

    After uploading the file, you need to click “File URL” before clicking “Insert into post”. That way the name of the file will be a working link. And you only have to do that once: the uploader will then remember your preference.

    For a pdf you have already uploaded, you can either reupload it that way, or go to Media>Library and click Edit (beneath pdf thumbnail): there you’ll find its URL, which you can copy and turn into a link in the post or page editor.
