Uploading backup code to WordPress website

    Hi there,

    We are new to WordPress and would like to know how we can upload our website source code. Our developer sent us a .rar file and we’re still not able to find where and how to use it to create our website.
    Also, if it may help, we are using Google Cloud for our hosting services. So, we’ve installed WordPress on Google Cloud.

    If there are any further details required, please let me know.

    It looks like you plan to have a self-hosted WordPress.org site. This forum is strictly for WordPress.com hosted sites.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ for any support on managing your site. Get FTP information from your host on how to upload content to their servers. Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!
