  Your maximum is 32 MB & my file is 72MB how can I upload it?

  Is the site you have the XML export file from still online?
  If yes, what is the URL?

  Also, what is the URL of the WordPress.COM that you want to import into?

  Hi @authorgabriela, where are you seeing that 32MB limit? Here at WordPress.com we have a 1GB limit on upload sizes.

  Hi there, to increase the upload file size on a self-hosted site, such as the one you mentioned, it is a bit fiddly to do manually. What you might consider would be to try out this plugin and see if that will do the trick.

  Thank you so much. I’ll check it out.
  I did & got this message.
  How do I interpret it?
  Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

  Hi @authorgabriela, sorry for not noticing that it hadn’t been updated in a while. Remove that plugin and then give this one a try: https://wordpress.org/plugins/upload-max-file-size/. If that doesn’t work, then I’m afraid it is going to be the fiddly route. You might be able to talk your web host into making the changes for you, but that varies from host to host.
