Uploading custom header problems

  I have a theme that says it has a custom header option. I go to upload the picture I want as a header and the default picture will not disappear, even though the left hand side bar for customizing says that the current image is the one I just tried to upload. What am I doing wrong?

  Did you make sure to click the Save & Publish once you updated the header image?

  Yes. I am not wordpress savvy but at least I did that. Still learning the ropes, in fact I dont even know why it said that’s the blog I need help with – it’s not! but oh well, it’s resolved! I had to update the picture under “pages” then “home” rather than through the customizer.
