Uploading Image to Header

I don’t have a theme that allows uploading an image to the header. But I have bought the CSS Upgrade. Does anyone have advice for uploading image to the header in the CSS style sheet? (I want my image to be at the top of my website and to the right of the Header and Tagline).

Also- can i upload more than one image, or only one? And if so… can they be presented side by side (horizontally) and not vertically?
    Thanks

I’m thinking that it would be a good idea to post your blog url so those who are proficient at css editing can see the blog and know which theme you are placing into Sandbox to edit.

Also- we don’t have the sandbox theme. We have the “Rounded” theme. So can I still upload an image to the header?

WordPress.com blogs do not have “www” in their urls. The correct url for your blog is http://www.babyccinoblog.com/

You sound confused. Let’s start at the beginning. The css editing upgrade is not recommended for bloggers who do not have previous css editing skills. There is no staff support for learning css editing. You will be doing the css editing yourself. And, the only support you may receive on this forum may come from those with css expertise who may from time to time drop into the forum and lend a hand. http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/10/18/about-the-custom-css-upgrade/

The Sandbox10 theme used to place another theme’s stylesheet into it and edit the css in. Sandbox10 is a theme rich with powerful and dynamic semantic class selectors; it’s a canvas for CSS artists.

Once a theme on any theme that already allows for a customized header is css edited you cannot upload a header into it as you did previously anymore. From there on out the header image must be included in the css stylesheet.

I will leave the rest of your questions to be answered by bloggers who have css expertise. Happy blogging. :-)

    Edits:
The first sentence above should read:

WordPress.com blogs do not have “www” in their urls. The correct url for your blog is http://babyccinoblog.com/

The first sentence of the second last paragraph should read:

Once a theme that already allows for a customized header is css edited you cannot upload a header into it as you did previously anymore.

Basically (and my knowledge is VERY basic when it comes to CSS) you find the spot in the CSS header section which has the URL of the current header…then you replace that with the URL of the header you wish to use. It must already be uploaded to webspace and have a URL of its own. You will have to have cropped it to exact size already. Internetducttape.com has theme evaluations which I believe have header sizes for each, to make it a little easier.

    @raincoaster
The Rounded theme does not have a header.

    Edit: That should read:

Tthe Rounded theme does not have a customized header.

Ah, well that explains that then. Thanks!

The CSS upgrade makes any theme that HAS a header able to have a custom header, by doing what I said above. But it can’t change the functionality of a blog or add features to a theme which does not have them already built in.
