uploading image to image widget not working

  I cannot upload an image into a sidebar image widget

  Hi there!

  You first need to upload the image you want to use in the Image Widget to your site’s Media Gallery, then link to that image’s URL in the widget. Here’s a great step-by-step guide that will help you with this widget:

  I did this one million times before I contacted you! I think it has something to do with finding the url via edit mode. It does not have the jpg extension. Thank you.

  I went into your media library and opened your most recent uploaded photo of Bradley Cooper and clicked the image link to go to the Edit Media screen:

  If you look to the right, you will see the “file URL” in a field – to grab the link, click in that field, and use these keyboard shortcuts to select and copy this URL:

  Ctrl+A (to select all the text)
  Ctrl+C (to copy)

  Go to your Image Widget and use Ctrl+V to paste the full URL into the widget field named “Image URL” and save.

  Note, if you’re using a Mac, use Command instead of Ctrl with the instructions above.
