Uploading image via URL

  I’ve been trying to upload an image on my wordpress.com blog that is from a URL, not from my computer. I didn’t have an issue a week ago when I was doing this, but now it’s giving me the little red message that says 1 file couldn’t be uploaded due to an error. I’ve hardly used my free 3GB – I’m only at .1%. Is there something I should know about why it’s not working?
